We're a Husband and Wife team who decided to start a shirt company.
That still feels strange to say out loud.
The truth is, the world doesn’t really need another clothing brand. There are thousands of them already. Everywhere you look someone is printing a design on a shirt and launching a website.
So why start Lantern & Stone?
For us, it wasn’t really about starting a business.
It started with a feeling that something was missing.
Faith in Everyday Life
A lot of Christian clothing brands lean in one of two directions.
They’re either loud and over-the-top, or they feel like they only exist for church events or conferences. Neither one ever really felt like something I’d wear in my normal day-to-day life.
And that’s where the idea started forming.
Faith isn’t something that only shows up in certain moments. It’s something we carry through ordinary life: workdays, family time, quiet moments, and everything in between.
I wanted to create something that reflected that.
Not loud.
Not gimmicky.
Just faith-inspired apparel that felt natural to wear every day.

The Kind of Brand I Wanted to Build
When we first started thinking about Lantern & Stone, we weren’t trying to build a huge company or chase some big trend.
We just wanted to create clothing that felt honest.
Comfortable shirts.
Simple designs.
Real meaning behind them.
Clothing that reminded people of something deeper without feeling like a billboard.
Something you could wear anywhere: at work, around the house, out with friends, and it would still carry a quiet reminder of faith.
To us, that’s what a Christian lifestyle brand should feel like.

The Meaning Behind the Name
The name Lantern & Stone came from two ideas that have always stuck with me.
A lantern represents light carried by a traveler. Not a spotlight — just enough light to take the next step forward.
That’s often what faith looks like in real life. You don’t always see the whole road ahead. You just trust enough to keep moving.
The stone represents something solid. A foundation. Something that doesn’t shift when everything else does.
Together they represent the journey we’re all walking.
